Please help me choose the right books.

Can anyone recommend children's books for my kids who are 5, 7 and 9 years of age? All of them have average reading skills for their age. I am a little overwhelmed by the choices on the internet and Barnes and Noble. Books with lots of pictures seem to help even for my 9 year old but any book that will help with their education will be of value.

English is not my mother language and it is therefore difficult for me to make the right choices for my kids. Any help will be very appreciated.
