Some of these poor dudes are declining due to adverse climate changes. Most frogs are amphibious—meaning they can move in water and hop around on land. Wish I could breathe thru my skin
Frogs of course do not have tails unlike other vertebrates and, as you've noticed, do not walk on land but rather jump with their great back legs. Another strange thing about these creatures is they breathe through their skin which must remain moist or they are susceptible to toxins from the environment.

Frogs don't eat steaks!
The Goliath Frog is up to 12 inches long and their skin can be in a variety of textures, from silky smooth to a coarse leathery-type. Wouldn't it be great to have three eyelids, one to protect the eyes while under water? Yes, that is what these vertebrates have. They have teeth but not the kind we have, they have quite small cone teeth on the topside of their mouth called maxillary—so steaks are out of their diet!

Juicy insect diet to keep slim
Now what do they eat? Most frogs love a carnivorous diet (meat) they find in insects of all types. Some juicy, others not so juicy. What do YOU think their favorite food might be? Could it be cheese and croakers? Of course they need protein for their swimming, jumping, climbing, the occasional walk, and for catching those juicy insects.
